- It was Vartika’s parents who had first noticed the immense talent of dancing in Vartika, and they decided to make her daughter a professional dancer.
- Her father brought her to a dance trainer in Renusagar where Vartika recieved her basic lessons of dance.
- At the age of 12, Vartika started her professional career in dance, and her father, Arvind Kumar Jha aka Babloo, started taking Vartika to various dance competitions in their locality.

- After performing at various stage shows in her town, Vartika decided to enter the dance reality shows and moved to Mumbai.
- While in Mumbai, Vartika had to face several rejections to get an entry into the dance reality shows. However, when she was selected in the “Dance Plus 4” reality show, everyone became a fan of her unique dance moves.
- During the “Dance Plus 4” reality show, Vartika recieved accolades from many celebrity dancers including Jeetendra and Govinda.
- Choreographer and Film Director, Remo D’Souza, was so impressed with Vartika performance in the “Dance Plus 4” reality show that he decided to take Vartika in his film “Street Dancer 3D.”
